Cobots 101

Collaborative robots, or “cobots,” are robots that work in conjunction with your team, meaning they operate in close proximity to humans instead of being isolated to a task area. They are intentionally designed to share space with humans and can be moved from machine to machine to fill in operational gaps, just as a team member would.

Instead of replacing your team members, cobots enhance the productivity and safety of your team by focusing on tasks that are repetitive and strenuous or require high levels of precision and dexterity. Due to intuitive touchscreen interfaces, Cobots are becoming increasingly easier to operate and program to work safely alongside your team members.
