Our integrated automation cell brought together AMRs, robotic welding, material handling, and press brake tending in a single demonstration.
The system featured a FANUC robot on an RTU (robot transport unit) retrieving a part from an inbound AMR, forming it on a Diamond press brake, welding the part, and placing the finished component into an outbound bin, showcasing how connected automation streamlines production.
Beyond moving parts efficiently, the booth also demonstrated how automation improves quality. Acieta's automated inspection system used machine vision and precision probing to inspect spool body components, identifying defects in real time before they reached downstream operations.
