Glass Bottle & Case Palletizer
High Speed Glass Handling
Acieta designed a dual-feed robotic palletizing system for Stoelzle Glass that handles both loose glass bottles and formed cases through a single infeed, with automated EOAT changeover between sweep and clamp tooling.
Benefits
High Speed
The system handles up to 350 bottles per minute and 25 cases per minute, giving Stoelzle the end-of-line capacity to keep pace with their fastest production runs.
Dual Product Handling
A single robotic cell manages both loose glass bottles and formed cases without a separate line or dedicated equipment for each product format.
Consistent Pallet Builds
A robotic layer forming tool builds clean, uniform pallet layers at high throughput, eliminating the variability that comes with manual pallet building at production speed.

Integrated Steps
Incoming glass bottles are sorted and oriented at production speed, preparing consistent, correctly positioned rows for downstream layer formation.
The sweep tool arranges sorted bottles into complete pallet layers with uniform spacing and alignment, ready for robotic placement onto the pallet.
The robot places formed bottle layers onto the pallet in precise, repeatable stacks, building clean, stable loads.
The clamp tool groups formed cases into complete pallet layers, maintaining consistent case orientation and tight layer geometry for stable pallet builds.
Formed case layers are placed onto the pallet with the same precision and repeatability as bottle layers, with the robot managing all positioning and stacking without operator involvement.
Completed pallets are automatically transferred to the hooding station, before the load moves downstream for storage or shipment.
